08-February-2008	I have updated the events and I've been updating the various categories such as settlements, homecomings, junkanoo... by filing pictures from the news archives under the right category, to make them easier to find. Sorry to have been off-line for so long, just trying to update and organize. JC homecoming is soon approaching. I stopped by the fish fry last Saturday afternoon and mom and dad hit it the previous weekend. The conch fritters are really conchy and the ribs are spectacular. Come check it out. I hear they are having Geno D and Ira Storr and the Spank band for their homecoming entertainment Easter weekend. The weather in Eleuthera has been exceptionally warm this winter. There's been moderate rain - not too much, but enough to keep the fields wet when needed.
17-Feb	This weekend was the 2nd Annual PA Gibson 5k relay held between Hatchet Bay and Gregory Town. There were plenty of kids participating. It was amazing to see many of these kids running in bare or stocking feet. First place went to Green Castle, 2nd to PA Gibson, and 3rd to Deep Creek. Congratulations to all involved! Cush's Place in Gregory Town has re-opened under new management. Dennis Delancey has taken over and has food and rake-n-scrape music on the weekends. Go check it out. I hear it is a good time!
